Hello, I'm Charlotte
I help German learners from their first sentences in German to fluent speaking so that they can live, work and make friends successfully in Germany.
I have been teaching German as a foreign language as a certified teacher for more than 9 years. I am a native German speaker: born in Berlin and grew up in Stuttgart - the city of Mercedes and Porsche.
Today my husband and I live in Munich with our four children.
I have spent a lot of time abroad myself: I studied for a semester in Spain and later lived for 5 years as an expat partner with my family in Italy and Great Britain.
I have now helped more than 230,000 students from all over the world learn or improve their German through private lessons, group courses, on Instagram, YouTube and through my popular weekly podcast "Uplevel Your German".

A conversation course is the solution:
For 6 weeks you will meet with your group every week for a virtual "coffee break":
We discuss interesting topics.
You will expand your vocabulary and improve your pronunciation.
With a maximum of 6 participants, there is plenty of opportunity to speak German!

Ich habe Deutsch mit Charlotte gelernt. Sie ist immer vorbereitet gewesen und hat mir nicht nur die deutsche Grammatik und den deutschen Wortschatz beigebracht, sondern auch die deutsche Kultur und die deutsche Traditionen, was immer sehr interessant gewesen ist. Wir haben auch immer sehr schöne Gespräche gehabt über viele verschiedene Themen. Ich werde den Unterricht mit Charlotte vermissen.
Charlotte is a very conscientious teacher with a great knowledge of grammar. She takes her work very seriously, has a wonderful motivation, but is also capable of adapting to the needs of her students, preparing lessons according to what they are looking for (being able to maintain a conversation, getting ready for an official exam, understanding the German culture and mentality, knowing where to get information here, etc..)

Charlotte's lessons are for me an entry to German language, culture and people. Besides the language I learned about the culture, the habits, the way people do things. And this understanding of Germans and their culture and maybe even heritage gives great insights and is important to me.
